Starting therapy is a big step. I’ve outlined my fees, rebates and cancellation policies clearly, to help you feel informed and supported from the very beginning.
Fees and medicare rebates
Standard 50-Minute Session
What is the cost of a session?
Each 50-minute session is $240.
How do Medicare rebates work with a GP referral?
With a valid Mental Health Care Plan from your GP, you're eligible for a rebate of $93.35 per session for up to 10 sessions annually.
Private Health Rebate
Many private health insurers offer rebates for psychological services. Please check with your provider for specific details.
What is the process for claiming a Medicare rebate?
After your session, you can claim your rebate through Medicare online or in person at a Medicare office.
Do you offer concession rates?
At this stage, I do not offer concession rates. However, you may be eligible for Medicare rebates with a valid Mental Health Care Plan.
What’s your cancellation policy?
Please provide at least 24 hours' notice to avoid being charged the full session fee. This allows us to offer the appointment to someone else in need.
Telehealth Session
Telehealth sessions are eligible for the same Medicare rebates as in-person sessions when you have a valid Mental Health Care Plan.
How can I ensure I receive the correct rebate amount?
Ensure your Mental Health Care Plan is up-to-date and covers the number of sessions you plan to attend. Always confirm with Medicare or your private insurer.
